A Close Up

I'm toying with this Join .... but my go a bit looser on the join.

Work In Process

I have arranged the squares and have attached them at the corners. Now I just have to finish the joining and the edging.

Squares Received ...

Also received squares from Beverly Talley recently and forgot to post ... Will take pics later ... been a busy time here at the store ... had my monthly wine tasting last Thursday ... and received a new pile of Inventory about one week prior to that ... so no real time for blogging or crocheting or anything but work. So I'm trying to get back on track.

Spent the last (1/2) hour reviewing what I have made for squares thus far and what I want to work on next ... as I have yet another square that I think has to go into my personal pile, it just doesn't make the cut for me to send to someone else. So (6) sets of squares completed [(5) sets ready to be sent out tomorrow or Wednesday morning] and (3) squares for my personal stash.

Happy Columbus Day!

I received these lovely squares from Beverly Talley. I am so excited that you all decided to send to me even though I can't send to you!

Circles in Squares

I did this simple square with the solid colors. So in the end I had like 6 different coordinated squares to mail out. It was fun and simple.. Then to get to the 8" I added a border with the Shaded Browns. I hope you like them.

I pulled it from the Bernat Tone on Tone Home Bonus Book.

New Efforts with Color.

Okay so this is my first attempt with color ... the square on the right is from "Beyond the Square" Motif # 88 ... and I realized that I used the wrong brown after I had finished the pattern. So I decided to not add an extra row around at this time, until I decide whether or not to use it in my bunch of squares.
The one on the left was my attempt at modifying the pattern to make it come out large enough to meet the 8" Square ... It is withing a 1/16" - 1/8" of the square template. What do you think?

More Squares

These are pics of the next (3) sets that I worked on ... the most recent ones, I have ripped out and started over ... I didn't like the way the pattern didn't really show with the yarn. -- Louanne
